Web 2 tools

Since commencing our Web2 tools learning group, I have learnt quite alot. Some things more useful than others. I found Image Generators quite enjoyable, as this is something I can see us using for the library. We could make our own signs & posters to encourage reading in the library, or even to catch the attention of students.

Also the RSS feeds would benefit us as we can be kept updated on particular items of interest, without having to waste time to go looking for it.

Google tools (docs) I found really interesting, but unsure on how to utilise these in the library/school setting as yet. Maybe the Librarian could use this tool to create a book order list for the Year 10/11/12. This could be posted to the KLA's to input their orders, then this is forwarded to the Book supplier?

This blog site has been useful, as it lets everyone know what's been happening in the library (for those who are interested).

I just wish we had more time to get the most benefit out of these tools. I'll keep trying.
